Chingford Rugby Club ended their season with a bang last weekend, with an epic end-of-season BBQ that brought together players, parents and supporters for a day of fun, games and celebration.
The day started with bouncy castles, which proved to be a hit with both kids and adults. While the adults should not have been playing on the castles, many couldn't resist the temptation and soon found themselves bouncing around like kids again.
The highlight of the day was the tug of war, which got incredibly competitive as both senior players and kids battled it out for victory. Cheers and laughter echoed across the field as everyone got involved, determined to come out on top. However one of the funniest moments of the day was the slip and slide, which had everyone laughing and cheering as they slid their way down the hill.
The soak the coach game was also a big hit, with players and parents lining up to take their shot at drenching their beloved coach. There were many soaked faces and wet clothes by the end of the day, but everyone had a great time.
Despite the senior side having a tough season, spirits were high and everyone was looking forward to coming back stronger next year. The end-of-season BBQ was a great way to end the season on a positive note and to celebrate the achievements of everyone involved in the club.
Congratulations to all the kids who played their hearts out this season and to the coaches and parents who supported them every step of the way. Special congratulations to all the players who received awards for their outstanding performances on the field.
Thank you to everyone who came out to the end-of-season BBQ and made it such a memorable day. We can't wait to see what next season holds for Chingford Rugby Club and all its players, young and old.
